Tһe tablөt war seems to bө gөtting hot іn Indіa aѕ Android taЬlets seem to be rolling out οf аlmost every manufacturers’ аssembly lines. Joining the frаy, Beetel Teletech has launched the Magiq – an Android 2.2 Froyotablet аt a ratһer affordable price of Rs 9999.
The Beetel Magiq sports a 7″ WVGA touchscreen, along with 2 MP front and 2 MP rear cameras. It comes with a folding rear stand, allowing you to place it in the landscape mode on the desk. Powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, it comes with up to 16 GB external memory support, though the internal memory is not mentioned on the website. Big screen output is available by means of an HDMI port, while for audio, you can either use the in-built stereo speakers or plug in your headset into the 3.5 mm jack.
Internet connectivity is available by means of Wi-Fi or 3G/2G using the SIM card slot. Since it is based on Android, you can always enhance its capabilities by adding apps from the Market. You can also set it up as a portable hotspot to allow other devices to access the internet through it.
While this may seem to be a very affordable offer, we cannot be sure about it because certain key information is missing from the specifications sheet such as whether or not the screen is capacitive, and also the screen resolution, on which the performance depends heavily. Until this information is available, we think it is too early to take a call.
