Gateway, a US-based subsidiary of Acer (since 2007), will launch an Android tablet, too.
This tablet has two model numbers – TP-A60W and PT-A60G – and we’ve discovered it listed at the official Bluetooth website.
At first we thought it was a brand new device, but after research, we’ve found that this is just a black, Gateway-branded Acer Iconia Tab A500.

Their descriptions are similar: “Lightweight and smaller than a magazine, it is very easy to carry.”
This being said, we think the tablet will feature a 10.1 inch display, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (here’s its Wi-Fi certificate), 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, and a dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor.
For the moment, we have no clue as to when, where, and for how much the Gateway TP-A60W / PT-A60G will be launched.

There is a better tablet PC than TP-A60W or PT-A60G, 9.7 inch capacitive multitouch screen, Windows 7, 3G, Intel Atom Z515 (1.2GHz) CPU, 2GB memory, 16/32/64MB SSD. The best part of this tablet PC is the working time as long as 6 hours, dimensions very similar as Apple iPad 242*189*14.8mm. Weight is only 708 gram. It’s the best Windows tablet PC I have ever seen. While the price is not cheap, similar as iPad.
